Smallgear (the "Company") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws, and maintains the following privacy policy to protect users' personal information.
1. Items of Personal Information Collected and Methods of Collection
The Company collects the following items in order to provide the Service.

2. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information
The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period prescribed by law or the period consented to by the user. Upon withdrawal of membership it is destroyed without delay; however, where retention is required under applicable law, it is retained for the relevant period (e.g., payment and contract records for 5 years under the Electronic Commerce Act).
3. Provision to Third Parties and Entrustment of Processing
The Company does not provide personal information to external parties without the user's consent. However, for payment processing, information necessary for payment may be provided to and entrusted to a payment provider (such as Paddle.com Market Limited), and infrastructure operation may be entrusted to Cloudflare, Inc. for hosting.
4. Overseas Transfer of Personal Information
In connection with the entrustment of payment and hosting, some information may be transferred to and processed overseas (at the location of the payment provider or cloud operator), and the Company takes the protective measures required under applicable law.
5. Rights of Users
Users may at any time request to access, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information, and if a request is made to [email protected] the Company will act without delay.
6. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information
The Company implements administrative and technical protective measures such as encryption of personal information, access privilege management, and retention of access logs.

8. Duty to Notify
In the event of any addition, deletion, or modification to the content of this policy, the Company will give notice through an announcement within the Service from 7 days before the effective date.
9. Language
This policy is provided in Korean and, for the user's convenience, in other languages. In the event of any conflict between the Korean version and a translated version, the Korean version shall prevail.
