Refund Policy

Smallgear (the "Company") operates the following withdrawal and refund policy in accordance with the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. and related laws.

1. Withdrawal of Subscription (within 7 days of payment)

A user may withdraw their subscription within 7 days from the date of payment. However, where digital content or a service has already been provided or its use has begun, withdrawal may be restricted within the scope prescribed by applicable law; in such a case the Company notifies the user, before payment, that withdrawal is restricted.

2. Refund for Subscription Services

For monthly subscription services, if you cancel before the next payment date, billing stops from the next cycle. The usage fee already paid for the current month is, in principle, not refunded where the service has been substantially used; however, where there is a cause attributable to the Company, such as a service failure, a refund is made in proportion to the period during which the service could not be used.

3. Refund Method and Period

Refunds are processed through the same payment method used at the time of payment, and may take 5–10 business days depending on the processing procedures of the payment provider (such as Paddle). Where a refund through the same method is not possible due to the nature of the payment method, the refund is made by another method in consultation with the user.

4. Grounds for Non-Refund

No refund is provided where the use of the Service has been restricted due to the user's violation of the Terms, or for items provided free of charge.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you would like a refund, please send a request together with your order information to [email protected], and we will inform you of the result within 3 business days.

6. Language

This policy is provided in Korean and, for the user's convenience, in other languages. In the event of any conflict between the Korean version and a translated version, the Korean version shall prevail.
